Accord talk!

Yesterday, we did a programme revolving around relationships and sexuality. A catholic group, called Accord, came in to run the programme with us.
I must say that the programme was really interesting and informed me of a lot that I didn't already know about at all. The woman's name was Margaret and she was very friendly. She made us all feel really comfortable about what we would have been talking about and she allowed us to leave the room if the topics got too much for us. Some of the topics and issues that we talked about and the stories that we shared were pretty funny! Other issues, on the other hand, were more serious and we had to understand how careful we have to be with relationships and sexuality.
I hope that all transition year students get this  talk from accord every year as I have certainly benefited from it.
