Put the eggs and bread on top! :)

Last weekend, the Irish Cancer Society had a bag-packing session in our local Tesco supermarket. Two girls in our year organised a list and timetable for anybody in the year who wanted to volunteer on one or two of the days. I volunteered on Saturday morning for three hours. There were plenty of volunteers on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon aswell.
We had to cover whatever tills were open and we also had a table at the entrance of the supermarket for selling raffle tickets and badges and candles. We took turns in selling at the table and packing the bags.
It was a very good, worthwhile cause. We ended up collecting a fabulous total of 2,600 euro.
There is another list for this Sunday in the same supermarket. Hopefully we will be as successful with the money that we raise and with the number of volunteers that we get.
