On Monday 20th of December we started our Christmas tests. Seeing as we are in TY we didn't have to sit as many exams. We had five exams instead of having the usual eleven exams. Our exams were spread over two days, the Monday and the Tuesday. We planned to go bowling on the Wednesday which would be the start to our Christmas holidays.
On Monday we had Religion, Maths and English. After 10 minutes of our first exam, it was like a Winter Wonderland outside the window. The snow was pelting from up above! It was such a magnificent view.
The following day, Tuesday, we had two more exams left to do before we got our Christmas holidays. We trudged through the snow to get into school for our exams. We were distracted the whole morning by the amazing view that was outside the school. When the exams were finally over, we got to leave the school for our Christmas holidays.
Before we left, our principal came to tell us that for health and safety reasons we were unable to go bowling on the Wednesday. We weren't too disappointed because we were told that we would get to go in the new year. The whole school was closed on the Wednesday because of the adverse weather conditions, so everyone got a nice early Christmas break!
